For the first time ever, Bay Area rising stars from the SF Symphony Youth Orchestra and the SF Opera’s renowned Adler Fellowship Program join forces to present a showcase of virtuosity. This exciting collaboration is spearheaded by Christian Reif in his third and final season as SFSYO Wattis Foundation Music Director. Experience Mozart’s charming tragi-comedy Le nozze di Figaro—considered by many to be the finest opera ever written—when these phenomenal artists perform selections from the beloved work, including aria favorites such as “Voi che sapete” and “Dove sono,” as well as the exquisite Act 4 finale. Also on the program, music by two French masters: the Andalusian postcard of Debussy’s Ibéria and the sun-kissed, Provenҫal atmosphere of Bizet’s L'Arlésienne Suite No. 2.
